🛒 Ingredients

  • 1.2 kg Beef tri-tip (whole)
  • 4 pieces Red oak chunks
  • 1.5 tbsp Garlic salt
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Onion powder

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Apply garlic salt, pepper and onion powder rub.
  2. 2Smoke at 130°C over red oak to internal temp of 50°C.
  3. 3Sear over direct high heat 2 min per side to form crust.
  4. 4Rest 10 min. Slice thin against the grain.
