Personalised Gluten-Free Meal Plan for Coeliac Disease
Coeliac disease is an autoimmune condition triggered by gluten โ found in wheat, barley, rye and (via cross-contamination) oats. A strict lifelong gluten-free diet is the only treatment. NutriPlan generates personalised 7-day meal plans that are completely gluten-free, nutritionally complete and practical for everyday life.

How NutriPlan optimises for Coeliac Disease
Strict gluten elimination
All meals are free from wheat, barley, rye and uncontrolled oats. We also flag hidden gluten sources: soy sauce, malt vinegar, modified starch, some medications and supplements.
Iron and B12 recovery
Coeliac disease damages the small intestine, causing malabsorption of iron, B12 and folate. Our plans prioritise these nutrients to support gut healing and prevent anaemia.
Calcium and vitamin D
Long-term gluten exposure in undiagnosed coeliac causes bone density loss. Plans are rich in calcium (dairy, fortified alternatives, leafy greens) and include vitamin D sources.
Fibre from safe sources
Gluten-free diets can be low in fibre if relying on processed GF products. Plans prioritise whole food fibre: rice, quinoa, buckwheat, vegetables, legumes.

Frequently asked questions
Can I eat oats with coeliac disease?+
Pure, uncontaminated (certified GF) oats are tolerated by most coeliac patients โ but around 5% have reactions to oat protein (avenin). Introduce only after gut healing is confirmed. Our plans use certified GF oats or avoid oats entirely for safety.
How strict does gluten-free need to be for coeliac?+
Extremely strict. Even tiny amounts (20 parts per million โ a crumb) can trigger an immune response and intestinal damage in coeliac disease. This is different from gluten intolerance, where small amounts are often tolerated.
Are oats listed as gluten-free safe?+
Only oats specifically labelled 'gluten-free' are safe. Regular oats are contaminated during harvesting and milling. Our plans only use certified GF oats where oats are included.
